Intel Corporation (INTC)

In this example, and throughout all of these stock homework steps, we are using Intel Corporation as our example company and stock.  Its stock symbol is "INTC".

We are big fans of using the Yahoo! Finance site as a stock research tool... so we start off going to that site (see link below), and entering the company name, "Intel", which then auto-fills the form field to show you that Intel is symbol "INTC.".  We see the "BUSINESS SUMMARY"  by going to the bottom of the page, where you can read about what the company does, and the primary way it makes its money.
